The day will not break again on Netflix's Daybreak. The streaming service canceled the apocalyptic teen drama after one season, series co-creator Aron Coleite revealed through a joint letter from the producers released on Twitter Tuesday.
Why did Daybreak get canceled?
So why was "Daybreak" canceled? ... Brian Ralph, who created the "Daybreak" graphic novel, told Business Insider in October that he had ideas for a follow-up book but didn't want to think about how it would relate to the TV show when making it.
Will there be a season 2 Daybreak?
Unfortunately not. Only a couple of months after Season 1 aired, in December 2019, Netflix announced that Daybreak would not be returning for a second season. Co-creator Aron Coleite announced the news in a tweet. “We learned last week that Daybreak will not be returning for a second season,” he wrote.
