Get ready to embrace the chill and celebrate wintertime fun at the Homer Winterfest, happening January 26-28, 2024, in the charming village of Homer, NY! This three-day festival offers a smorgasbord of activities for all ages.

Friday Night Lights:

• Kick things off with author readings and discussions for both kids and adults at the Phillips Free Library.
• Fuel up with a delicious fish fry dinner at the Homer Elks Lodge.
• Enjoy live music and performances throughout the evening at the Community Arts Challenge Grand Opening.
• Gather around the bonfire for warmth and camaraderie, followed by a dazzling fireworks display.

Saturday's Winter Wonderland:

• Marvel at breathtaking ice sculptures sculpted by the Ice Farm, scattered throughout the downtown area.
• Let your imagination run wild at the Winterfest Children's Events, featuring crafts, games, and even a visit from Dan the Snake Man!
• Participate in the Human Dog Sled Race (with or without snow!), with cash prizes for the top teams.
• Sample delicious local brews and wines at the Wine & Cheese Tasting and Homer Winter Wingfest.
• Catch a captivating dance performance in front of the Fire Station.
• Wind down the day with live music with DJ Philly C's at the Homer Elks Lodge.
• Enjoy one last laugh at the 607 Comedy Show (adult-oriented humor) at the Center for the Arts.

Sunday Funday:

• Start your day with a hearty breakfast at the Homer Elks Lodge.

Throughout the weekend, you can also enjoy:

• Snow sculpture contest throughout the village.
• Antiques & Small Crafts Sale at Homer Intermediate & Junior High School.
• Free ice skating and snowshoe demonstrations.
• Chili cook-off (unfortunately cancelled this year).
• Free youth bowling and dance performance.
