Change Default Audio Playback Device from Sound Control Panel

1. Right click or press and hold on the playback device, and click/tap on Set a Default Device.
2. Select a playback device, and either: Click/tap on Set Default to set for both “Default Device” and “Default Communications Device”.

How do I remove default communication device?

I would suggest you to check with volume settings and check if it helps.

1. Right click on the speaker icon in taskbar and select volume control options.
2. put a check mark on “All devices currently playing sound”.
3. Make sure you have “The default communication device unchecked”.
