How Do Preferences Work on Hinge?

To adjust who you see on Hinge, you can edit your Preferences. To edit your Preferences: Tap the Settings icon on the lower right corner of your navigation bar. Tap the preference that you want to change.

No, the preferences you choose only act as filters and are not visible to anyone else.

Does Hinge show you to people outside your age preference?

You might not have your Dealbreaker enabled for the preferences that you want to be 'hard' preferences (e.g. we never show you anyone outside those preferences.). Unless they're set to 'Dealbreaker', we prioritize people who fit those preferences but also show you others.
