How Do You Maintain Dryvit

A small investment in maintaining your Dryvit system pays in the long-term appearance and protection of your home. With an investment as important as your home, we recommend that you inspect the finish and sealants twice a year and clean the surface thoroughly at least once every five years.

How do you take care of Dryvit?

Dryvit materials are treated to resist mildew growth but in wet, shady areas mold or algae could still develop. Wet down the affected area then use a soft-bristled brush to scrub any growth away. Use a mixture of one part liquid soap, four parts chlorine bleach and 16 parts warm water.

Can you pressure wash Dryvit?

Testing has verified that Dryvit DPR finishes are most effectively and safely cleaned with the use of general cleaning compounds, followed by a mildly pressurized water rinse.
