How do I change from bash to C shell?
Switch back by following the steps below!
- Step 1: Open up a terminal and enter the change shell command.
- Step 2: Write /bin/bash/ when asked to “enter a new value”.
- Step 3: Enter your password. Then, close the terminal and reboot. Upon startup, Bash will be default again.

How do I open multiple shells in Linux?
CTRL + Shift + N will open a new terminal window if you are already working in the terminal, alternatively you can just select “Open Terminal” form the file menu as well. And like @Alex said you can open a new tab by pressing CTRL + Shift + T . Show activity on this post. right click on mouse and select open tab.
