How Do You Use a Pulmicort Nebulizer

To take Pulmicort Flexhaler, you’ll first twist the base of the inhaler to load the dose. Then to inhale the drug, you’ll forcefully take in a deep breath through the mouthpiece of the inhaler. You may not feel the medication entering your lungs when you’re using the inhaler.

How do you Nebulize Pulmicort?

Pulmicort Respules should be administered via a jet nebuliser equipped with a mouthpiece or suitable face mask. The nebuliser should be connected to an air compressor with an adequate air flow (6-8 L/min), and the fill volume should be 2-4ml.

Can Pulmicort nebulizer be given alone?

PULMICORT RESPULES should be administered separately in the nebulizer [see PATIENT INFORMATION]. A Pari-LC-Jet Plus Nebulizer (with face mask or mouthpiece) connected to a Pari Master compressor was used to deliver PULMICORT RESPULES to each patient in 3 U.S. controlled clinical studies.
