How quickly should it start to work? Simeticone usually starts to work within about 30 minutes. Liquids or chewable tablets may work slightly more quickly than non-chewable tablets or capsules.

How does simethicone relieve gas?

Simethicone reduces the surface tension of the formed gas bubbles, which prevents bubble formation. It also helps to combine lots of small bubbles into larger bubbles, which can be expelled more easily.
