How Long Do Onkyo Receivers Last

My expectations are that a receiver should last at least 10 years. Onkyos have tons of features, but I would take durability over features. I just replaced my Onkyo with a Pioneer (now owned by Onkyo). Hopefully it will have better durability.

Does Onkyo make good receivers?

No wonder, as the Onkyo receivers have incredibly high quality and can provide mind-blowing sound. … The peculiarity of Onkyo home theater receivers is to offer high power, thanks to the house WRAT technology (Wide Range Amplifier Technology).

How often should you replace your AV receiver?

Although the answer to this question is “until it breaks”, a home theater receiver should realistically be replaced every 5 years or so. If you’re not as bothered by advances in technology, then you could probably squeeze 10 years out of a good quality model.
