A plasterer apprenticeship requires the completion of 6,000 hours of on-the-job practical training as well as 200 classroom-training hours. Plasterer apprenticeships cover topics such as math, drafting, cost and materials estimating and how to approach a variety of jobsites and projects.

How long does it take to do a plastering course?

The six weeks of plastering training can be split up into separate weeks to suit your diary. Alternatively, we also offer this course at weekends. When training at weekends it is 10 weekends over the period of 20 weekends. They will then complete a nine-day block.

Is plastering a good career?

Plastering can be physically demanding work, so a level of physical fitness is important. It is a very versatile job as many diffrent times of construction from residential to commercial buildings need plaster, so you will be kept engaged with a diffrent site to work on constantly.
