Using Efficiency V without a haste effect, it takes about 2.55 seconds to mine each block, resulting in being able to mine approximately 23.5 blocks of obsidian in a minute. With Haste, this is reduced to around 2.14 seconds per block, or 28 blocks in a minute.
How long does it take to break obsidian with mining fatigue 5?
Breaking it down, it will take 2.46701 × 10^139 seconds to break one piece of obsidian with my fist with the highest level (255) of Mining Fatigue.
Both the gold and netherite pickaxes are listed as breaking a block in 0.25 seconds. That should seem suspicious considering the gold pickaxe seems to be faster. The correct value for gold should be 0.2 seconds.
