How Much Roundup Do You Need per Acre

If you’re trying to kill all weeds to build this new food plot, you need to apply 2 quarts of glyphosate (like Roundup) per acre. If your ATV sprayer/water test indicated you can effectively spray 1 acre with 12 gallons of water, than you simply mix 2 quarts of glyphosate with 12 gallons of water and start spraying.

How many acres will 25 gallons spray?

The 25 gallon version shown here, allows us to spray two (2) acres easily and does not upset the center of gravity of the ATV.

How do I calculate my sprayer output?

Simply incorporate the output of a single nozzle in gallons per minute (GPM) and multiply by 5,940. Then divide by the product of miles per hour (MPH) times the distance between nozzles in inches (width) on the spray boom.
