Ironing. Cellulose acetate burns easily. Set the iron on a low temperature and iron on the inside of the item while the garment is damp. First put a pressing cloth over the garment if you would like to press on the outside.
How do you get wrinkles out of acetate?
To remove wrinkles, we recommend steaming for the best and safest finish. Acetate is thermoplastic, so use a low temperature iron to prevent melting. Iron on the wrong side while damp. To freshen items between wearings, spritz with Delicate Spray.
What temperature do you iron acetate?
Acetate. For acetate, you'll want a temperature of 290 degrees Fahrenheit (or 143 °Celsius). This is typically setting 1 on your iron. For best results, invert the garment so that it's inside out while it's still damp, essentially ironing the wrong side of the garment, and press the iron into that side.
