What is an S shot (S curve)? The S shot is thrown by using a very understable disc to start out the shot. A person would aim a bit to the left of the target and release the disc with a flat release. The disc will naturally turn immediately to the right because of the understability and then end with a fade to the left.

  2. release an understable disc flat and let it turn over.
  3. throw a forehand.
  4. throw a rhbh roller.
  5. throw a low thumber and play the skip.

Are there any illegal throws in disc golf?

A player who throws an illegal disc during play shall receive two penalty throws, without a warning. A player who repeatedly throws an illegal disc during the round may be subject to disqualification in accordance with Section 3.3 of the PDGA Competition Manual.
