There aren’t as many counters to Incarnate Forme Thundurus as there are other types, but there are certainly a few good ones – let’s take a look at them.

In terms of Mega Pokemon Mega Abomasnow can work. The problem is, it suffers double damage against Thundurus’ Flying-type moves. However, it may be worth the risk as it will provide a boost to other trainers Ice-type Pokemon.

Rock-type Pokemon are probably your best shout here, despite Thundurus possibly having a dangerous Fighting-type move. Consider bringing Rhyperior, Rampardos, Tyranitar and Terrakion from this typeset.
