Indictments Include Sex, Drug Charges

Three area men have been indicted by a Wood County Grand Jury for sex offenses involving minors in
separate cases.
In addition, four Bradner residents are co-defendants involving an alleged drug manufacturing operation.

• Cody Alan Wells, 19, listed as housed in the Wood County Justice Center, was indicted on two counts of
rape. Both counts involve the same victim who was age 6. According to court records, Wells’ first case
involved sexual contact with the victim from Dec. 16 through Jan. 31. In the second count, he is alleged
to have had sexual contact with the same boy from Feb. 1 through March 31. Both charges are first-degree
felonies.
His case has been assigned to Judge Molly Mack.
• Kenneth A. White, 34, Bowling Green, was indicted on one count of gross sexual imposition for his
alleged sexual content on Christmas Day involving a 9-year-old boy. This crime is a third-degree felony.

His case has been assigned to Judge Alan Mayberry.
• Randy Merer, 43, Perrysburg, was indicted for seven counts of pandering sexually-oriented matter
involving a minor. Three counts are alleged to have been on Dec. 3, one on Dec. 6 and the other three on
Dec. 31. He is also indicted for possessing criminal tools, specifically an iPhone, which is subject to
forfeiture.
All of the pandering charges are second-degree felonies and the possession charge is a fifth-degree
offense.
His case has been assigned to Judge Matthew Reger.
• The drug charges involve four residents of the same home in Bradner. Indicted Trenten Walls, 42;
Desiree Collins, 39; Ean Thomas Rose-Wortinger, 20; and Kaylyn Marie Rose, 18, were indicted.
The home, which is owned by Collins, is subject to forfeiture, according to her indictment.
A search warrant was issued and executed on April 23 in regard to an ongoing investigation of the
manufacture of methamphetamine on the premises.
All four co-defendants are indicted with three charges — illegal manufacturing of drugs, possessing
criminal tools and illegal assembly or possession of chemicals for the manufacture of drugs.
Their cases have been assigned to Mayberry.
