Apple doesn't specify the battery capacity and charging speed of its devices, which includes its iPad tablets. After our tests, however, and a bit of calculation, we estimate the numbers you see above. We have done our calculations based on the watt-hours (28.65Wh and 40.88Wh) provided by Apple and assuming the voltage based on previous and other iPad models.

The battery size of the 11" iPad Air M2 should be about the same as last year's model. We say "should be" because Apple doesn't actually state the battery capacity of its tablets, so we kind of have to guess based on the 28.93‐watt‐hour it has written on its website.
Apple claims that this battery is enough to last users up to 10 hours of surfing the web on Wi‐Fi or watching video and up to 9 hours when using cellular data network.
As for charging, just like with its predecessor, the new 11" iPad Air maxes out somewhere between 20-30W of power input. If it is anything like the 2022 model, you can juice it up from 0-100% in about 2 hours and 15 minutes using a compatible 30W charger.
