The BD Pyxis^™ MedStation^™ ES is an automated medication dispensing system supporting decentralized medication management. It helps clinicians safely and efficiently dispense the right medications, for the right patients at the right time.

How do I enable Pyxis?

To power it back up, simply flick the power switch and wait for several minutes until it powers back up again. The Pyxis program will restart automatically. You don't need to do anything on the screen, but it will take several minutes for the Pyxis program to restart. Be patient.

Does BD own Pyxis?

In October 2014, Becton Dickinson bought Carefusion for a price of $12.2 billion in cash and stock. Since then, Dickinson has been the developer of Carefusion and its Pyxis Systems.
