Is Coffee Good for Erectile Dysfunction?

According to a new study out in the journal PLOS ONE, caffeine intake is linked to reduced odds of having erectile dysfunction (ED) in men who drink the equivalent of two to three cups of coffee per day.

Does coffee help your erection?

Some experts suggest that caffeine/coffee triggers a pharmacologic cascade that results in relaxation of cavernous smooth muscle, thus helping with ED. Furthermore, coffee is rich in erection-friendly polyphenols, and can possibly pump up testosterone concentrations, enhancing blood flow to the penis.

What can I drink for erectile dysfunction?

Drinking one cup of beet juice each day may be enough to experience this benefit. In cases where ED is caused by high blood pressure, this would, theoretically, relieve symptoms of ED. Cyclic guanosine monophosphate or cGMP helps arteries relax, which could increase blood flow to the penis.
