Enma is one of the two blades that belonged to the legendary samurai, Kozuki Oden of Wano. Along with Ame no Habakiri, this sword is said to be a match for even the likes of Shusui, wielded by Shimotsuki Ryuma.

So we know that Enma is cursed in that it draws an undue amount of haki from the wielder. This why Zoro's arm was emaciated when he first used it,and why he was out of breath when he used 'flying dragon blaze'. Even Big Mom noticed that enma was not normal and that Kaido should dodge the attack.

What kind of sword is Enma?

Enma is one of the 21 O Wazamono grade swords. It was once wielded by Kozuki Oden alongside his other sword, Ame no Habakiri, and is one of the two only weapons known to have ever injured Kaido. After Oden's death, Enma was inherited by his daughter, Kozuki Hiyori.
