Is Gymboree Back in Canada

The Gymboree clothing brand for boys and girls will be back online and in some stores next year, thanks to The Children’s Place. … On Tuesday morning, The Children’s Place announced in a press release it will relaunch Gymboree.com in 2020 and add Gymboree shops inside 200 of its stores across the U.S. and Canada.

Is Gymboree still online?

Gymboree had over 900 stores when it folded. That included Gymboree, Crazy 8 and Janie and Jack locations. Gap paid $35 million for Janie and Jack and the brand still exists as an online store, according to CNN. Gymboree is the latest retailer to return to life fairly quickly after an apparent demise.

Did Children's Place merge with Gymboree?

As of February 12, 2020, the store is back and ready for parents hungry for its classic styles. Shoppers can find the brand’s clothing on the Gymboree website, and also inside 200 brick-and-mortar retail locations of The Children’s Place. (The Children’s Place bought Gymboree after it went out of business.)
