is a type, just as a class is a type. Like a class, an interface defines methods. Unlike a class, an interface never implements methods; instead, classes that implement the interface implement the methods defined by the interface. A class can implement multiple interfaces.
Are interface and class the same thing?
An interface can extend multiple interfaces. A class can implement multiple interfaces. A child class can define abstract methods with the same or less restrictive visibility, whereas class implementing an interface must define all interface methods as public. Abstract Classes can have constructors but not interfaces.
Is interface an object?
An interface is a programming structure/syntax that allows the computer to enforce certain properties on an object (class). For example, say we have a car class and a scooter class and a truck class. Each of these three classes should have a start_engine() action.
