How does Nobuyuki Tsujii learn piano?

Tsujii began learning music by listening. His mother, Itsuko Tsujii, said in a telephone interview that at age 2 he played “Jingle Bells” on a toy piano after hearing her sing it. He switched to reading music in Braille at age 7, when he started using Braille to read and write.

He started lessons with Zhu Ya-Fen at age three, and won first place at the Shenyang Piano Competition and performed his first public recital when he was five. When Lang was nine, he was expelled from his piano tutor’s studio for “lack of talent”.
