Is Re Enable a Word?

Enable again. Etymology: re- + enable.

What does re-enable mean?

(also reënable) 1To make able to do something again. 2To make (especially a device) operational or active once more; to restore operability to, to reactivate.

Is Re-enable hyphenated?

As for the spelling, we do say (or, rather, spell) "reentry" and "reenact." Personally, I find the "reen" combination rather odd-looking; until the "reenable" spelling is firmly established, I would tend to write re-enable.
