Is Ta Marbuta Feminine?

Can the taa marbuta ة be used to make a male noun female? As in many other languages, any Arabic noun/adjective has to be either masculine or feminine. With few exceptions, the general rule is to suffix the taa marbuta (ـة/ة) to the masculine noun/adjective forms to derive the feminine ones.

Do you pronounce Ta Marbuta?

It is usually pronounced "-a" in everyday speech, but if you want to be correct and write in MSA, the vowels are often required. It is "-i", because it's the genitive case (fii requires it).

What is the difference between ة and ت?

The only difference between the two is that التَّاء المَربُوطَة is pronounced as هـ when we stop on it. Another obvious difference is the way they are written [ت] vs. [ــة]. ... Since they hear ــة as ـت, they write/misspell it as [ت].
