The brain is not a computer of any known kind. Except under specific circumstances, it doesn’t “compute”. Its intelligence is a unique form of homeostatic adaptation for survival that isn’t represented by anything we call a computer. OTOH, there are lots of parallels and analogies which we use to describe the brain.
