Is Uts Ticket Valid Now?

The Unreserved Tickets (UTS) are now being permitted for travel in these trains only on which such unreserved journey has been permitted. In a statement, the East Coast Railway appealed passengers to follow Covid-19 appropriate behaviour during train journey and at the stations.

The official notification reads, “To decongest ticket booking counters and to ensure smooth compliance of social distancing norms, facility to book unreserved tickets through UTS on MOBILE app is being reactivated by South Eastern Railways w.e.f. 01-03-2021.”

Is UTS booking suspended?

Central Railway has closed down all UTS and PRS (over-the-counter long distance advance reservation) counters. Eastern Railway has also suspended ticket sales on all modes including UTS counters, ATVMs, UTS on mobile and Jan Sadharan Ticket Booking Seva (JTBS) .
