Most item requests can be unlocked during visits to the camp by talking to other members of your gang. In a few cases you will be asked to find an item while completing a story mission. For most items you can be requested in chapter 2, 3, or 4. Uncle and Charles will also ask you to find items for them during the epilogue.
You can start collecting items at any time. You will only be able to deliver an item if someone asks you to find it. You must complete at least five of camp item request missions to unlock the Errand Boy Achievement / Trophy.

- Pearson (during a poker match) - Naval Compass, Rabbit (can be hunted)
- Sadie (during the Further Questions of Female Suffrage mission) - Harmonica
- Sean - Kentucky Bourbon
- Susan - 2 x Creeping Thyme, Oregano, or Wild Mint (plants) - Chapter 2
- Tilly (during a dominoes match) - Necklace
- Uncle - Medicinal Cream (can be crafted)
