There are 16 Shinto Shrines in total, 7 of which are in Izuhara. Shinto shrines contain charms and wax wood. Shinto shrines are places where you have to find your way to the peak where the shrine is located. This will require jumping, climbing and in a few cases it will be necessary to use a grappling hook that you can get by doing "The Iron Hook" quest.

Golden Summit Shrine Rewards: Defense Charm (Charm of Amaterasu - "Killing enemies restores a Moderate amount of health."), +1 Wax Wood.

Mending Rock Shrine Defense Charm (Charm of Okuninushi - "Slowly recover health while out of combat."), +1 Wax Wood.
