Jenni Rivera, a singer and actress, died in a plane crash in the early hours of December 9, 2012. In Iturbide, Nuevo León, Mexico, a horrific incident occurred. According to the paper, she was on board the Learjet 25, which crashed near Monterrey, Mexico, with four other passengers.

Her body was laid to rest at All Souls Cemetery in Long Beach, California, on December 31, 2012.
