Jeopardy Champ Ciara Donegan: Insights on Her Wiki and Family Life

Ciara Donegan is a Post-Bachelor Research Associate at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory. Besides, she is popular as a contestant on America’s longest-running quiz game show, Jeopardy!

Previously, Ciara made an appearance in the 38^th season of Jeopardy! in 2022. She was a one-day champion at that time as she bagged a cash prize of $27,601.

However, Ciara couldn’t cash in the opportunity as she failed to continue her winning streak the next day. While she was in the lead with $15,200, an incorrect answer set her back $10,000.

Now, Ciara is back on Jeopardy! as she is aiming for the place in this year’s Jeopardy! Tournament of Champions. She will be testing her luck on Thursday, 30 November 2023.

Caira also has a twin sister in her family named Kristin Donegan. Kristin studied Biology at Carnegie Mellon University. Interestingly, both her sister and her mother have appeared on Jeopardy!

Her sister, Kristin, finished as a semi-finalist with $20,000 at the 2022 Jeopardy! National College Championship. Moreover, her mother, Laura appeared in the 39^th season of the game show in 2023.

Ciara’s mother, Laura serves as an internal medicine specialist. She was a doctor at the University of Maryland St. Joseph Medical Center in the past. Likewise, she served as a doctor at Greater Baltimore Medical Center.

On the other hand, Ciara’s father, Robert is originally from Columbia, Maryland. Her parents have been married for more than two decades now.
