Jhene Aiko is an American singer and songwriter. As a singer, she began her career in the early 2000s when she contributed her vocals to the R&B group B2K. One of her notable contributions was in the soundtrack of the 2002 adventure comedy film The Master of Disguise. Aiko has been in the music industry since 2002. Within that time, she has released two studio albums, one collaboration album, and supported many artists in their tours. Jhene Aiko was born and grew up in Ladera Heights, California. She is the daughter of Christina Yamamoto (Mother) and Karamo Chilombo (Father). Aiko has several siblings. Her sisters are Dio Chilombo, Kareena Chilombo, Marcia Chilombo, Mila J, and Miyoko Chilombo. She also has two brothers namely Jahi Chilombo and Miyagi Hasani Ayo Chilombo. While growing up, Jhene was home-schooled by her parents in Ladera Heights.
