Jimmy Fallon – Family, Family Tree

A multi-talented personality, Jimmy Fallon is a noted actor, singer, comedian and television host who has also doodled in production and writing. His interest in music and comedy is what prompted him to move to Los Angeles from his hometown in New York. He was a mere 21 years of age when he made the move with an aim to look for opportunities to become a stand-up comedian. While studying at St. Mary of the Snow, an elementary school, Jimmy was an altar boy, an experience which actually gave him an idea to become a priest.

However, soon his young mind was influenced by the various comedy and music shows that were played on the radio making him gain a keen interest in both. He was a huge fan of Saturday Night Live and dreamt of getting on to it one day. His dream came true when in 1998, he was chosen as the member of the cast of the television program. He continued to work on the show for 6 years and even gained some celebrity status by co-hosting the Weekend Update segment of the show.

He took a short hiatus from television to star in movies like Taxi, Almost Famous, Fever Pitch, The Scheme etc. He returned to the television in 2009 with his very own show, The Late Night Show with Jimmy Fallon where he showcased his love for games and music. Later, he went on to be the sixth host of the popular television series, The Tonight Show.
