John Dennis is an American broadcaster who is currently married to Juliana. He is best known for co-hosting the former Dennis and Callahan morning show on WEEI sports radio. At the age of 22, John Dennis worked as a sports director and weekday anchor for WDAF-TV, an NBC station in Kansas City, Missouri.

Because of its perceived lowbrow humor, John Dennis barred the Globe’s sports writers from coming on the Dennis & Callahan morning show. Dennis was nominated for an Emmy in 1978 for the feature “Cowboys, Creole, and Orange Crush.” In 1983 and 1984, he received the Associated Press (AP) Award for Best Sports Coverage. He won an Emmy Award for “Outstanding Sports Program within a Newscast” in 1987.
