Juan is also well known as, Bass guitarist for one of the most influential and successful Latin American band of all time, Mana. They earned four Grammy Awards, eight Latin Grammy Awards and a plethora of others. He played with his brothers Ulises and Abraham in a group called Sombrero Verde from 1978 to 1985, and that band became Mana.
Juan is originated from Mexico. He and Fher Olvera were the two longest tenured members of Mana.
