Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 180 Recap

The previous chapter was the conclusion to Yuta and Ryu’s battle. Yuta can only release the high-powered cursed energy blast when Rika is fully manifested. But even then, Yuta is weaker than Ryu. Both of them start to exchange long-range attacks. Yuta knows that Ryu can easily defeat him in long-range, so he starts to run near him.

Ryu blasts his Granite Cannon on Yuta, but he deflects it in the air using Uro’s technique. Watching Yuta performing Uro’s cursed technique comes as a surprise for Ryu. While he is concluding about Yuta’s true power, he attacks him with the Thin Ice Breaker attack, and at the same time, Rika attacks Ryu as well. With a single punch from Ryu, Rika reaches her limits.

Ryu and Yuta start to engage in hand-to-hand combat. Suddenly, the Granite Cannon attack that Yuta previously deflected falls on Ryu. He now understands that Yuta used Uro’s cursed technique on him and finally says that his stomach is now full.
