Keri Hilson was born on December 5, 1982, in Los Angeles, California. This Decatur, Georgia native is most known for songs such as Knock you down, I like, Turnin’ me on, and others. She is a black woman from the United States.

Hilson’s mother owns and operates a daycare business, and her father is an army veteran turned developer. She came from a middle-class family and was raised in an African-American area. Kip is her brother, and Kelly, Kelsee, Kye, and Kaycee are her sisters.

Because her parents were concerned about her education, Hilson and her siblings did not attend a school in the area, noting that “they sent us off for an hour to get to school every day.” It was critical for us to preserve the life that they had produced.”
