The player was born as Andrew Stefan McCutchen on 10 October 1986 in Fort Meade, Florida. His parents, Lorenzo McCutchen and Petrina Swan raised him and his sister named Loren. Andrew was taken care of by his mom while his dad went to Carson–Newman University in Jefferson City, Tennessee and was part of a football team. Likewise, his mother never wished to marry his dad until he became a church minister to which the two got hitched on 1 August 1992.
