Christian McCaffrey is an American football running back and return specialist, who currently plays for the Carolina Panthers of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for Stanford Cardinal football program at Stanford University.

Christian Jackson McCaffrey was born on 7 June 1996 to parents Ed McCaffrey and Lisa McCaffrey. He grew up with his family in Castle Rock, Colorado. He has three brothers; Max, Dylan and Luke McCaffrey who are also a football player.
McCaffrey pursued his early education at Valor Christian High School in Highlands Ranch, Colorado. Afterward, he went to Stanford University to play college football. He stands at a height of 5 feet 11 inches (1.80 meters) and his weight is 207 lbs (94 kg).
