The player was born as D’Angelo Danté Russell on 23 February 1996 in Louisville, Kentucky. He was raised by his parents, Keisha Rowe, and Antonio Russell. D’Angelo went to Central High school in his hometown and then moved to Montverde Academy in Florida, a year later.
