American football tight end Hunter Henry plays for NFL team San Diego Chargers now known as Los Angeles Chargers. The player is the three-time recipient of All-SEC from 2013 to 2015 and the PFWA All-Rookie Team in 2016.

The player was born as Hunter Mark Henry on 7 December 1994 in Little Rock, Arkansas to parents Mark and Jenny Henry. His dad was an offensive lineman for the Arkansas Razorbacks from 1987–1991. Henry went back to Little Rock for his Freshman Year of High School where he attended Pulaski Academy in Little Rock for four years.
After playing a season for Arkansas College from 2015 to 2016, his professional NFL career leaped. The player was chosen to be in the 2016 draft when the San Diego Chargers picked him. He and the team signed a four-year, $6.38 million contract on 2 June 2016. A part of the agreement included a $3.98 million guaranteed and a $2.84 million signing bonus.
