American Basketball player, Lonzo Ball plays for NBA team Los Angeles Lakers with jersey number two. Just one playing season old, Lonzo has already left a mark from his impeccable playing records for the team.

Lonzo Ball’s Bio & Family

Born as Lonzo Anderson Ball, the player was born on 27 October 1997 in Anaheim, California. His father, LaVar is a former college basketball who also played for NFL team, Carolina Panthers and New York Jets. Other than that, Lorenzo’s mother, Tina also played basketball for Golden Eagles. For now, she works at Vernon Middle as their athletic director. Both his parents exchanged wedding vows in 1996.

The other family member includes Lonzo’s two brother’s LaMelo and LiAngelo Ball. Both the siblings play as a shooting guard for the Junior Basketball team, Los Angeles Ballers. Lonzo stands at a height of 6 feet 6 inches (1.98 meters) with a bodyweight of around 86 kg.

More About Lonzo’s Injury

The 22-year-old early-season injury came with the Los Angeles game against Houston Rockets on 19 January 2019. During the match, Lonzo’s left ankle’s ligament tore up with a severe injury after colliding with Rockets player, James Ennis Ill in the third quarter.

During the first quarter, he made a career-high seven assists for his team’s 13-0 points. However, the Lakers lost the game with 138-134 with Lonzo’s 11 assists, 18 points in 22 minutes.

Similarly, a year ago on 27 July 2018, a severe injury occurred where Lonzo underwent arthroscopic surgery on his left knee to repair a torn meniscus.
