Lamar Lavante Lathon (born December 23, 1967 in Wharton, Texas) is a former professional American football player who was selected by the Houston Oilers in the 1st round (15th overall) of the 1990 NFL Draft. A 6'4", 255 lbs. linebacker from the University of Houston, Lathon played in nine NFL seasons from 1990 to 1999 for the Oilers and the Carolina Panthers.In 1996, Lathon recorded 13.5 sacks for the Panthers and was a Pro Bowl selection.
