Latrice Royale

Timothy Wilcots, better known by his drag stage name Latrice Royale, is a drag performer, music artist, and reality TV star from the United States. He has appeared on RuPaul’s Drag Race, RuPaul’s Drag U, and RuPaul’s Drag Race All-Stars, among other drag reality TV shows.

Net Worth and Career

Latrice Royale originally gained attention when he appeared on the fourth season of RuPaul’s Drag Race, a drag competition reality TV show. While he was ousted quite early, audiences voted him “Miss Congeniality.” Royale has since featured on the spin-off shows RuPaul’s Drag Race: All-Stars during its first and fourth seasons, as well as RuPaul’s Drag U during its third and final season. He has also been on other shows such as RuPaul’s Drag Race: Untucked!, Werq the World, Celebrity Family Feud, and Hey Qween!.

Royale is also a recording artist, having released three EPs to date: The Chop Remixes (2012), Weight Remixes (2014), and Here’s To Life:  Royale Live in the Studio (2015). (2016).

Royale: A Brief Biography

Timothy Wilcots was born Royale on February 12, 1972, in Torrance, California. In Compton, LA, he was born to an absentee father and raised by a single mother. In his twenties, he began performing in drag; his first drag show was at Copa Night Club in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

Royale is openly gay. In June 2016, he proposed to his partner Christopher Hamblin. Their wedding took place on September 29, 2018, in Atlanta, Georgia. Royale is a court-appointed minister who has presided at a number of marriages. He has officiated both homosexual and straight marriages as a supporter of marriage equality.
