Lauren Pazienza, on the other hand, dashed to west 28th Street at Eight Avenue, where she collided with Barbara Guster and  passed Barbara as she waited for her cab.

Lauren totally dunked on Barbara Gustern, then shouted at her and shoved her to the sidewalk, injuring her and fiance asked why she pushed the elderly lady when she returned to her apartment. She admitted that she doesn’t know, but she thinks a woman said something to her. With her fiance, she told lies.

Why was Lauren Pazienza imprisoned?

Lauren’s trial began after she was arrested on manslaughter and assault charges. She is accused of throwing 87-year-old Barbara Gustern into the cement and murdering her. Judge Felicia Mennin is now presiding over a trial. Due to her flight risk, Judge Felicia Mennin sentenced her to prison.

Lauren had previously been released on a $500,000 bail. However, when she initially appeared in court on May 10, 2022 for her trial, the judge denied her bail and sentenced her to prison. She asked that the charges of first-degree manslaughter and second-degree assault be dropped. The final verdict is pending until the next hearing, notwithstanding Lauren Pazienza’s plea. She is currently incarcerated on Riker Island.
