His situation is so terrible that he is forced to eat pap with no seshebo. Netizens comforted him by reminding him that his position is not permanent.

Man shares financial woes in TikTok video

The gent, @lucasmoraswi, posted a TikTok video of himself eating pap with pap. The man looks around sadly as he eats his food with the caption that he is suffering financially.

It can be challenging to make enough money to feed oneself because of the rising unemployment rate and the increasing food prices, and the man’s condition is similar to many who have to endure poverty and eat meagre meals to survive.

Man tells Briefly News of hardships

Lucas Moraswi told Briefly News that he lives in Ga-Manotwane in Limpopo.

"In most cases, I eat pap and tin stuff, morogo, or whatever I have. Sometimes I only bring pap, and my colleagues would make fun of me, even nicknaming me Buswa (pap). I'm busy with the learnership at Samancor Eastern Chrome Mine. My stipend is insufficient to maintain myself, my kids and my family. I end up disregarding myself and focusing on my family and kids. It's difficult to work without a proper meal, especially when eating in front of the colleagues," he said."
