Liu Wen is a very famous person and China first ever super model. She is also the first East Asian model to work for Victoria's Secret. She was the first Asian listed in Forbes as highest paid supermodels. She was born in a middle-class family in 27th January, 1988 in Yongzhou, China. Her current residence is in Manhattan, New York city. She works very hard and loves to travel.

She is the only child of their parents. At first Liu wanted to be a tour guide. She used to be very tall almost 5 feet 10 inch in her class. She was always encouraged by her mother to maintain a disciplined life and take a chance in modeling contest. After participating in a model contest, the fashion industry discovered her potential. Later she was then sent to Paris. She started her career as a full-time model.

Then slowly she started working with all the international brands. She was in several campaigns like Hugo Boss, Dolce & Gabbana, Roberto Cavalli, H&M, Marni, Oscar de la Renta, Calvin Klein, Diesel, Alexander Wang, Rag & Bone, Lane Crawford, Vivienne Tam, Bergdorf Goodman and Gap. She was the first Chinese model who appeared on American’s Vogue cover for their 125th anniversary.

In 2009, for the fall collection, she was in 74 shows which were held in New York, London, Milan, and Paris. This was a record for that season.
Next year she again appeared in 70 shows as well. In 2011 she signed a contract with Estée Lauder brand, an international cosmetics contract. She is now the Global Ambassador of Chanel Beauty. Her agencies are The Society Management, Elite Model Management and Storm Management. She worked in many Vogue editorials. In future she wants to be a stylist.
