Loni Sanders was born in Los Angeles, California in 1958 to an American father and Japanese mother. She was discovered by photographer Rupert Daines in 1979 and began her career as a glamor model, appearing in mens magazines such as Gallery, Swank, Pub, and Genesis. In 1980, she met adult film star Mike Ranger and began acting in hardcore X-rated movies. She eventually began doing no-holds-barred sex scenes with other male porn stars as well. After divorcing Ranger, she became a production manager for Vivid Video and still occasionally appeared in non-sexual roles in porno flicks. She has been inducted into both the AVN Hall of Fame and XRCO Hall of Fame and currently lives in Los Angeles with her boyfriend Marco.
