Early life

Louis Tomlinson was born on December 24, 1991, in Doncaster, South Yorkshire, England. His parents were Troy Austin and Johannah Poulston, and they gave him the name Louis Troy Austin. Unfortunately, Troy and Johannah separated a few days after his birth.

After Louis Tomlinson’s parents divorced, his mother raised him independently, but later met and married Mark Tomlinson. As a result, he adopted his step-father’s last name, changing his official name to Louis William Tomlinson.

Tomlinson has seven half-siblings from his parents' other relationships after splitting up. On his father's side, there is a half-sister, Georgia Austin. After his mother remarried, she had five daughters, Charlotte, Félicite, Daisy, and Phoebe Tomlinson. In addition, Tomlinson has two other siblings, Doris and Earnest Deakin, from his mother’s third marriage.
