Lukas Forchhammer, also known as Lukas Graham, is a Danish singer, songwriter, and actor. He is the lead singer and a multi-instrumentalist for pop and soul band Lukas Graham.
Lukas was raised in an anarchist community. He is the son of Eva Forchhammer and Eugene Graham.
His father has Irish heritage. Lukas took his father’s surname, Graham, as his stage name. He talks about his Irish ancestry in this clip. He spent half his childhood growing up in Ireland, and has said that he has a strong bond with his Irish roots. Lukas’s paternal grandfather was from Wicklow, Ireland.
Lukas has two children with his partner Marie-Louise “Rillo” Schwartz.
